"I realized more and more clearly that the mandala is the center;
it is the expression of all life; it is a path of individuation." ~ C.

About Mandala Massage

The functioning of the body is intrinsically connected to the mind
and spirit.  When these aspects are working in harmony, health is
achieved.
At Mandala Massage we are interested in the wellbeing
of the "whole" person, and work with our clients to achieve health
and wellbeing from the inside out.

The Mandala, a naturally occurring cyclic pattern, is symbolic of the
universal connection of all of nature.  In today's chaotic world, it is
easy to lose sight of this connection and of our inner selves.
Massage and bodywork, along with other methods, can help in
centering a person and helping them to achieve balanced living
amidst this chaotic world.

At Mandala Massage we don't work on our clients, but with them.
We are a family wellness center,  focusing on helping eliminate
stress from the lives of busy, multi-tasking women and mothers and
helping to make their lives easier..
Most recently we have added to
our available services, massage treatment for those with, or
recovering from cancer.
We do our best to provide treatments that
suit everyone's individual needs.  People are like snowflakes, no
two are exactly alike.  Therefore, no two treatments should be
exactly alike either.  Please communicate with your therapist to
ensure a treatment and plan that suit you best, and works towards
achieving your individual goals.

Note: We provide forms of Therapeutic Massage
only and
do not in anyway offer or promote any
form of erotic massage, nor do we provide massage
treatments without proper draping.

About me
I'm a graduate of the two year/1000 hrs Associates in Myofascial
Therapy program at Springfield Technical Community College
where I currently work as instructor for the student clinic.  I also
have a B.A. in English, and am continuing my education in pursuit
of a nursing degree, and eventually certification as a Nurse Midwife.
I have worked in a variety of settings (spa, private practice,
chiropractic, gym) and am dedicated to providing my clients with
quality treatments geared towards the enhancement of their well-
being.
Although my practice is based in Therapeutic Massage, I have a
strong background in Eastern modalities as well. I believe that
energy is a vital part of any treatment and have training in Reiki.  I
specialize in Pregnancy Massage, Oncology Massage, Massage for
chronic muscular ailments, and massage for women and children;
but I welcome a diverse clientel from all walks of life.
With the present state of the profession we are finding the field
saturated with therapists from programs as short as 6 months.
Inadequately trained therapists lead to a misrepresentation of the
profession.  I am passionate about Massage Therapy and believe
that massage is an important part of maintaining a healthy body,
mind, and spirit, and in living a balanced life.  Please be sure to
make sure your therapist graduated from a credible program, is
licensed by the state or town, and is a member of a professional
organization such as the AMTA or AMBP.  Also know that
therapists differ widely in styles, techniques, depth and personality,
so if you’re not satisfied with a therapist, keep trying until you find
someone who is the best match for you.
